1. Introduction
It feels so good to be back! It’s been a long time, but I’m thrilled to start sharing my beauty finds here again.
Starting things off with some swatches of my favorite MAC lipsticks. Even after all these years, these remain a staple in my makeup bag. They’re the perfect "Your Lips But Better" shades and so easy to wear every day.
The formula is comfortable and the pigment is just right. They’re my absolute essentials for work or just heading out.
2. Packaging & Design
The packaging is the classic, iconic MAC bullet design. It is sleek, sturdy, and perfect for carrying in any makeup bag. The cap clicks securely, so you never have to worry about it opening accidentally. The bullet twists up smoothly, allowing for a precise and effortless application directly onto the lips every single time.
3. Shade Breakdown & Swatches
Let's dive into the shades and formulas. I have swatches of two different finishes to show how they look on the skin.
First is the MAC Lustreglass Sheer-Shine Lipstick in Syrup. This shade is a beautiful sheer, cool-toned pink that gives the lips a fresh, luminous glow. The pigment is beautifully translucent, making it ideal for effortless, casual days.
Second is the MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in Peach Blossom. This formulation offers a richer, creamy finish with medium buildable coverage. The shade is a stunning light pink with a soft coral undertone. It feels incredibly soft and looks deeply moisturizing on the lips.

4. Formula, Texture & Application
The texture of the Lustreglass formula is lightweight and glides on like a lip balm. It contains nourishing oils that keep the lips feeling hydrated all day. On the other hand, the Cremesheen formula feels slightly richer and more cushiony. Both formulas feel very comfortable on the lips without any sticky or heavy feeling.
5. Longevity & Wear Test
Since these are moisturizing formulas, they are not completely transfer-proof, but they hold up surprisingly well for everyday wear. The glossy shine lasts for about 3 to 4 hours, but the colour can stay on for up to 6 hours. The Cremesheen holds its pigment a bit longer, fading evenly into a natural stain after eating or drinking.
6. Final Verdict
Overall, these MAC lipsticks are absolute must-haves for anyone looking for the perfect everyday lip product. They combine beautiful pigmentation with incredible lip care benefits. If you prefer a sheer, glossy look, go for the Lustreglass. If you want more color payoff and creaminess, the Cremesheen is your best choice. What is your favorite MAC shade? Let me know!
